The sun shined brightly through the trees in the forest and the sound of birds chirping is heard throughout the area. The sound of a little girl laughing filled the area and the sound of leaves crushing were heard as well. The sound of a name being called  was heard. "Violet! Lunch is ready!" The mother said as she waited for Violet. The little girl smiled and yelled," Coming mama!" She picked up her stuffed animals and started to run back home. Violet's mother, Grace, waited patiently for her daughter to get back home. A smile formed onto the mother's face when she saw Violet run out of the woods and she held the door open for her. "Welcome home sweetie." The mother said kindly as her daughter walked inside. "How was your day in the woods?" She said while closing the door. The smell of the nicely cooked food filled the room and the smell made Violet's stomach growl. The child giggled and sat at the kitchen table then said, "It was wonderful mama! I found another bunny hole today!" Grace smiled at how happy Violet was and said, "Is that so? Do you want some more carrots for them?" Violet smiled widely and giggled as she rocked her chair side to side. "Yes mama!"

Violet's mother was a very kind and loving person, and so was Violet's father. Violet loved her parents very much and always tried to help them. Violet was never a bad child and she always tried to do the right thing. Violet was somebody who everyone liked and loved to be around. She even had a few friends where she lived at.

After lunch, Violet asked," When is daddy getting home? I wanted to help him with the garden!" Her mother smiled at her as she cleaned the dishes that gathered up in the sink and said," He won't be home until tomorrow morning dear."Violet sighed as she got out of her chair but she giggled once she landed her feet on the ground. "The I'll help him tomorrow!" Violet said with a giggle and she ran up to her room. She stopped at the top of the stairs and yelled," I'm going to take a nap mama!" Grace then yelled back," Alright dear just make sure to come down for supper!" Violet smiled and continued to run to her room.

Once in her room, she instantly fell on her bed and took off her shoes. She looked out the window that was in front of her bed and saw the sun starting to set. Violet then yawned and started to drift to sleep. Everything around her started to fade as she entered the dream world. In her dream, Violet sees that she is inside of her house, but it is night time. Violet didn't think nothing bad about this, but then she heard crying coming somewhere from inside her home. Curious, Violet traveled through her home in search of who was crying. She had walked up the stairs where the crying had gotten louder then she stopped. The sound of Violet's name was called from all the rooms, and it kept getting louder and louder until she woke up. Violet was now facing towards her ceiling and her room was now dark. "Violet!" Her mother yelled. The child looked towards her door and hears her mother then quickly gets up. She thinks nothing of her dream and runs downstairs.

"Violet, I've been calling your name for the last 5 minutes now. What on earth were you doing up there?" The mother said as she cooked the left overs. Violet quickly sat in her chair and breathed heavily from running. "I fell asleep, sorry mama." Violet said quickly as she started to catch her breath. Her mother looked at her and sighed then smiled as she put a plate in front of Violet. "Just remember to listen out for me next time okay honey?" Grace said as she sat down. Violet nodded and began eating.

After supper, Violet said goodnight to her mother and went upstairs to get ready for bed. Violet picked out a white gown and took off her skirt. She grabbed her favorite stuffed animal and laid down in her bed. She closed her eyes and began to drift to sleep. In Violet's dream, she found herself in her house again but, this time she was where she was when she last fell asleep. She heard the crying again and she started to walk down the hall. Violet looked at the walls where all the family pictures hung and she stopped at a specific picture then stared at it. The picture was of her, her mother, and her father but, something was off about the picture. Violet's face wasn't there. She stared at the picture then she looked at the rest that had her in it. Violet's eyes widened seeing that her face was gone from all the photos. She couldn't understand what was going on and she heard the crying again but, it sounded closer this time. Violet started slowly walking towards a door where the crying was coming from. Fear built up inside of Violet as she approached the door. Violet was never scared of her dreams but, this dream was different. It made her feel like she was actually there. The crying got louder from behind the door and Violet just stood there, frozen in fear. Her body trembled as she started to reach for the door knob. Violet gulped and started to turn the doorknob, then she suddenly woke up. Violet shot up in her bed and looked around seeing she was in her room. She felt something wet on her face and she felt it. She could feel that she had been crying and she remembered the crying from her dream. She held her stuffed animal closely and realized that it was still dark outside. Violet sat up in her bed and stared out her window.

The next morning, Violet's mother had called for Violet but had gotten no response and she had continued to call for her. She then walked upstairs and opened Violet's door. She saw her daughter sitting up in her bed staring at the window and she walked in front of Violet while saying, "Violet! I've been calling your name for about 15 minutes now! What on earth are you do-...!" Her mother gasped as she saw her daughter's face. Violet had been staring at that window for hours now and her eyes were bloodshot. Violet's mother shook her trying to get her to snap out of it and said," Violet! Honey! Look at me! Violet!" Violet's mother kept shaking her and said, " Violet! Violet look at me! Viole-!" The frighten mother stopped shaking her when Violet's head slowly turned to hers. The mother gasped as she looked into her daughter's eyes seeing there was no light left in them. "Mommy... I'm crying..." Violet said while looking at her mother. The frightened mother looked at her child and said," Baby, your not crying..." The mother then shook her daughter and said," WAKE UP VIOLET!!!" Violet blinked and her eyes were back to the way they were. She looked at her mother and became confused. "Mommy? Whats going on?" The confused child had asked as she looked at her mother. Grace looked at her and smiled weakly then said, "Its nothing dear..." She hugged her daughter then heard the front door open.

A man's voice was heard," Grace? Violet? Is anybody home?" Violet's eyes widened as she hears her father's voice and she looks towards her door. "Daddy?" The child said and then smiled as she got out of her bed and ran downstairs. Violet nearly tackled her father when she hugged him and she laughed happily. "Daddy! Your back! Your back!" The excited child said as she hugged her father still. Violet's mother came down and smiled as she looked at her husband. The mother walked over to her husband and kissed him on the cheek. "Welcome home honey." The mother said as she led him to the table then said," Come eat dear!" The father looked at the two girls and smiled. "This is quite a welcoming, thank you both!" The father said with a smile then sat down.

While the family ate breakfast, Violet looked at her father and said," Daddy! Are we going to work in the garden today?" Her voiced sounded excited and cheerful as she waited for her father to answer. Mathew, her father, looked at his daughter and patted her head. "Sorry pumpkin. Its going to rain today, so we won't get to work in the garden today." He gave Violet a kind smile and then saw her pout. Violet was now pouting with her arms crossed. "Aww..." She said then sighed as she put her arms behind her back and leaned forward a little bit towards her father. "Then tomorrow it is!" Violet said with a giggle as her father looked at her. Violet twirled and said," Oh I can see it now! All the beautiful and delicious carrots in the garden!" The father looked at his little Violet and smiled. "You will make the best carrots pumpkin!" Mathew said as he started to get up.

Grace looked at her husband and said," Honey, sit down. We need to talk." The mother then looked at her daughter with a smile and said," Sweetie, go in your room and play. Mommy has to talk with daddy for a while." Violet looked at her mother for a moment then smiled. She said," Okay mommy!" Then she went up to her room. Grace looked at Mathew with a worried look. "Its about Violet." The worried mother said. Mathew blinked at hearing it was about their daughter and he wondered if Violet did anything wrong. "Violet? Did she do something bad?" The confused father said. The mother shook her head and said, "No. Something was wrong with Violet before you got home..." Grace started to remember what Violet looked like before Mathew got home. The look she remembered that her daughter had...was so lifeless and dead. She just couldn't shake the look on her daughter's face away, for it was trapped in her mind. Grace then explained to her husband about how Violet was acting when she walked into her room that morning.

Violet sat in her room with her stuffed animals and she played with her favorite, Mr Trunks, her toy elephant. She lifted his trunk and laughed, she then heard something. "Mommy?.... Daddy is that you?" She said as she looked around her room. She realized that the sound was coming from her closed door and she stood up while holding the stuffed animal. She walked slowly over to the door and she then heard crying. She froze in place. Her pupils began to vibrate at the crying and she began to tremble slightly. Her breathing became uneven and she stared at the doorknob. "Please... Open the door.." Said a voice that sounded like her mother's from the other side of the door. Violet hesitated to speak but replied the voice, "Mommy?" There was no answer for a moment that seemed like forever, then the sound of her mother was heard again as it spoke," Dear, please open the door..." The crying continued and Violet looked at the door, thinking that her mother was actually sad, she opened the door. She was suddenly greeted with someone, no something that looked exactly like her. The thing was crying but, the tears weren't normal...instead they were blood. It cried and looked at her with tired and empty filled eyes. Violet tried to scream but nothing came out and she took a step back from it then turned around to only be greeted by it again. She jumped and fell back. She instantly scooted back in fear of what she was seeing. The thing looked at her and it knelt down to her. It looked at her and saw her fear, it touched her. Violet looked down to see her white gown had turned into a black gown with a white cat face in the middle. She then looked back at the thing, which had its face directly in front of hers and she froze. It stared into her eyes then spoke," When you are alone... He will come for you when you cry." Violet looked at the thing in fear as she suddenly began to feel dizzy. Everything around her started to turn into a blur as a high pitched sound was heard in her ears. Then, everything went black.

Violet woke up to find the sound of rain coming from out her window. She thought that she might of been dreaming but, she noticed her new gown and her eyes widened. She instantly stood up and ran towards her mirror in her room. She looked at herself then the gown. She examined the gown making sure that it was safe. "I'm okay." She then heard some footsteps coming up the stairs, she looked towards the door and stared at it. She watched the doorknob turn as she began to tremble a bit. The door opened to reveal her mother and she looked at her. Grace spoke, "Sweetie... where did you get that gown...?" Violet became quiet after her mother asked that and her mother repeated herself, "Violet, where did you get that gown from..." Violet hesitated but answered, "A girl...that looks like me gave it to me..." Her mother's eyes widened and looked at her, she knelt down to her. "What do you mean... a girl that looks like you..." She had said. Violet looked at her mother and she explained what just happened.

During the next hour, they had called for a priest to bless the house and pray for Violet. Violet never had any bad reactions to the prayer or during the blessing of the house. So, it was obvious that she wasn't possessed by anything, which was a big relief to her parents. The blessings took about 2 hours and Violet was very tired. She asked her mother," Mommy... can i go and sleep im tired...." Her mother smiled and nodded, feeling that since the house was blessed that her daughter would be safe. Violet hugged her mother and walked up the stairs, she yawned as she reached her room and opened her door. She walks to her bed and fell onto it. Violet crawled further up into her bed and pulled the covers over her, she got comfortable. She then closed her eyes and fell asleep, not even realizing this will be the last time in her home. She found herself in the same dream as before, standing in the same spot from which she woke up from, in front of that door. She could hear the crying coming from the other side yet again, but she didn't hesitate this time when she reached for the doorknob. She grabbed it and opened the door, to only be greeted with her own room. She became confused because the door didn't look like hers that was covered in drawing that she had made but instead it was plain, nothing was there. She no longer heard the crying either, she only heard silence and the beating of her own heart. This made her very unease and she decided to look around her "room." She couldn't understand what was going on, she was sure the crying came from here but there was no person or thing in site. That was until she heard something coming from her closet. Bang. Bang. Bang. Was all she heard from the closet. Bang. Bang. Bang. Not to loud, but loud enough to hear. Bang. Bang. Bang. "Dont you want to play?" Said a familiar voice that she heard from the closet. To familiar that she couldn't forget. The closet began to open, creaking as it moved with such ease. Darkness was in that closet. Violet, at this moment, wasn't that fond to the darkness as she normally would be. It bothered her quite a bit. "Can't I be your little nIgHtMARE..." Said a voice behind her making her jump and scream. She turned around instantly and froze from who she was met with. She saw it again. Herself but... it wasn't her. It was something unexplainable. The thing looked at her with a wide smile, revealing a row of sharp teeth, neither canine or human. They were its own. The thing chuckled at her fear and it easily pinned her to the wall. With a laugh it said, "Wake up won't you? Thats all you possibly want to do isn't it... heh Well, sorry kid but... this will be your last dream... or nightmare I guess you could say." It then chuckled as it put its hand on her forehead. "Now... wake up." She shot up in her bed and breathed heavily as she grabbed her heart. She began to cry from her own fear and she instantly got up from her bed, she grabbed her favorite stuffed animal and walked out her room. "M-mommy! D-daddy! H-hurry!" She cried. No response. She continued to cry as she walked down the steps and she called out, "Mommy! Daddy! Where are you?!" No Response. She wondered why her parents weren't answering her, so she went to go find them. She searched everywhere, no sign of them. She continued to search until it got dark.

Violet cried in her room. She sat in the corner of the lonely house and she cried. She held what was dear to her, and that was her favorite stuffed elephant, Mr Trunks. She cried until she heard footsteps. She looked towards her door as she heard it open and she said," Momm-..." Who she saw, wasn't her mother, nor her father, but a tall man. He wore a hat and a colorful dotted suit. He had eyes, but they weren't really human. He had a smile, but it had sharp teeth instead of human ones. All he did was look at her. He saw her tears and walked to her. He knelt down and frowned at her tears. "Dear... Why are you crying blood?" He spoke in a worried tone. That was when she realized that her tears weren't normal ones. They were blood, just like when she saw that thing crying. It cried blood, just like she was doing now. She dismissed the thought of crying blood and she spoke," M-my mommy and daddy.... where are they? Where are my parents." She cried and cried in front of this man. He couldn't help but feel symphony for her and he said," Why don't you come with me... until your parents come... I will watch over you. How does that sound?" He gave her a kind smile, a very caring one indeed. She looked at the man for a long amount of time, wondering if she should go with him. After some time, she agreed. The man then picked her up and carried her out the house, he did make sure to get what she wanted from there, which was her elephant and a family photo. The walk was long so she rested in his arms, feeling safe... to finally sleep....

.....................

Grace heard something from upstairs while she talked to her husband. She hushed him and said," Mathew... listen. Do you hear that?" They listened for a long amount of time, then it was heard. Crying. Loud, loud crying. They recognized the crying was coming from their daughter, Violet. They rushed up to her room making footsteps as they got near the door. Grace then opened the door as they heard "Momm-". The word "mommy" being cut off. Mathew noticed Violet wasn't in the room. That was when they panicked. They searched and searched but couldn't find her. That was when Grace noticed that Violet's favorite elephant was missing, and then... the blood on the floor..........

Months have passed since the incident that happened with the Moores family. The lost of their daughter was heartbreaking. But killings have been going around town now, some even missing cases. I don't get why she had the nightmares or why she changed. It also seems a bit overdone, a child being taken in by Slenderman or one of his brothers then suddenly there are many killings. I think you also took some mystery out of it saying people are killed in their dreams, normal people wouldn't say that and it would be scarier if it felt more real. You rush a lot of your sentences too, try to break them up instead of shoving as much as possible in a sentence. I would suggest expanding your vocabulary a bit too.
Your grammar is good, which is suprisingly difficult to find. Some of your sentences are run-ons, make sure to watch out for those it can be difficult when you want to say a lot. You are also doing your quotes in an odd fashion. When having someone speak you should act like you are starting a new paragraph for each different person's dialoge. This will also help break up those really big paragraphs that can be hard to read.
Not many stories feature younger kids and you built up the character a bit more than most people. You have a lot of good imagery with only a few pieces where it is missing. This character could be built better than a lot because you have an amazing foundation and idea for her. You have a good story and an amazing start for a fun character if you explain a bit more and edit the few choppy pieces. And just remember you get better with every word you write.
I apologize if this seems too harsh.
